Starship and heavy artillery weapons use gravitic focusing for high accuracy and range. Less common but available weapons include graviton beams, sonic weapons, aerosol sprays, and mircowaves.
For those looking for an extra punch, smart grenades have multiple explosive types and come in saucer and sticky varieties. Hand grenades most frequently use high-explosive concussion or shaped charge explosives, or may release poisonous or corrosive gasses or liquids. Ships and artillery can launch missiles with multiscanner homing. The most common missiles are antimatter torpedoes. Grenades and torpedoes both come in EMP, graviton pulse, and plasma varieties; ship-based missiles carry multiple warheads.
Although range provides an obvious advantage, melee weapons are still used, either for stealth or because a warrior prefers to fight up close. Vibroblades are common melee weapons, and are frequently made of hyperdense metal with superfine blades. Non-vibrating blades can have monowire or nanothorn edges. Monowire whips and switchblades are deadly but difficult to master. Although advanced material blades are possible, blades of pure energy cannot yet be created without Magic. When non-lethal weapons are needed, electric stun wands or electrified gloves will do.
